Yokoso! Welcome! We are located at the NW corner of Baseline and MacDonald, Mesa. There's no limit as to how much you can learn in our dojo

Soke Hausel is a member of several Halls-of Fame, a martial arts Legend, and one of the few westerners to be recognized as a martial arts geniusSoke offers training to children (> 9 years old) in private lessons; or in the adult-family group classes with a parent or grandparent. Adults train with other adults. Soke Hausel, 12th dan, will be your instructor for most classes. Periodically, you may be taught by Dr. Adam, 8th dan; Shihan-Dai Lucas, 4th dan; or Sensei Ingram or Sensei Moeur, 3rd dan.


Adult membership: $135/month. 

  • Pay as you go (cash, personal check, PayPal - NO credit cards)
  • Just add $40 to your monthly fee and your spouse, son, or daughter may attend with you (children must be >9 years old).

Private Lessons. 

  • Soke Hausel, Professor of Martial Arts at the University of Wyoming for >30 years & instructor at ASU, U of U, and U of NM. He is certified in more than a dozen martial arts. One hour private lessons are $70: for two people - $100.

We reserve the right to refuse training to anyone. 


Classes limited to 25 people. We have a mix of men, women, and families



  • Mudansha ranks (9th kyu to 1st kyu) known as color belts, are $50/rank.
  • Kobudo certifications - $50.
  • Yudansha ranks - $150. (1st & 2nd dan). $200 (3rd dan), $250 (4th-8th dan)
  • Special rates are available for families.
