Three outstanding Utah black belts were inducted into the" target="_blank">Seiyo no Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai Hall of Fame for lifelong contributions to Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo. Shorin-Ryu karate is one of the initial forms of Okinawa karate created centuries ago that was originally named 'Te', 'Tode', Okinawan Kempo, Shuri-te and others.

The three inductees have been training for many years and include Kyoshi Todd Stoneking, Kyoshi Kim Schroeder and Renshi Jeff Schroeder. Because of their contributions to Seiyo Shorin-Ryu martial arts, Soke Hausel from Gilbert Arizona with Hanshi Rob Watson from Murray Utah elected to draft the three individuals into the Hall of Fame. They were certified as inductees at the Utah Gasshuku (adverse training) clinic in the East Canyon Resort near Park City in July, 2019.
