Traditional Okinawan Martial Arts (Karate, Kobudo, Self-Defense, Samurai Arts)

Martial Arts Demonstrations, Clinics and Talks | Phoenix East Valley, Arizona

University of Wyoming Campus Shorin-Ryu Karate & Kobudo Club under the direction of Soke Hausel presented many half-time demonstrations at both men's & women's basketball games.

The demos included examples of traditional karate, kobudo, jujutsu, self-defense, samurai arts as well as body hardening and rock breaking. The students were extraordinary and performed like professionals, while Soke Hausel often broke slabs of rock with his fist and head. These demos were so popular that the group was asked to return over and over.

Recently, karate students from the Arizona Hombu dojo provided a traditional Okinawa Martial Arts demonstration for the people of Carefree, Arizona (March 12th, 2016) at the Carefree Pavilion. Our group demonstrated samurai arts, kobudo, karate, self-defense & body hardening.

We enjoy martial arts

If we can help your church, school program, or women's club by giving a talk, demonstration, or a self-defense clinic at your club, school or church, give us a call. We live in this community and want to make it a better place for all of us. We do charge a fee for clinics and demonstrations.

While at the University of Wyoming, Soke Hausel taught self-defense to both martial artists and non-martial artists including staff, faculty, general public, professional associations, clubs, church groups, military, sororities, women's groups and librarians as well as to other martial arts groups.
